Slitter Re-Spin Procedure

1.     This procedure applies only to re-spin/re-wrap jobs when BOTH of the following apply: 1) Width is less than 18 inches, 2) Thickness is less than 0.070 inches.

2.  Operator will check width once line run is established and the material is under tension.

3.     If material is within tolerance, checks will be repeated quarterly throughout the coil. Record measurements on production record.

4.     Operator If the material is found to be out of tolerance during any of these checks, non-conforming material will be segregated and tension will be adjusted.

5.     Steps 2 thru 4 will be repeated after tension is adjusted.
